Drupe – Mixing it up in Canaria

Going from Japan to Spain this week for a set by Drupe from the Canaria 2026 festival, recorded for Radio Nacional de España on July 17th of this year.

DRÛPE, formerly known as Zombie Love, are a four-piece consisting of talented singer/guitarist Camy Myles, Sly G., Sebas and Matt, and have been steadily making a name for themselves over recent years.

The band, made up of musicians from different backgrounds, blends powerful drum rhythms, intense guitar riffs, grooving bass lines, and the energy of a striking voice. The result is their own distinctive sound, which they call Vintage Coastal Rock.

So aside from the above, which was gleaned from a few sites with festivals going on this past year, there is precious little information on the band other than letting you know they come from all over Europe.

With that, it’s a mystery tour but a fun one – it’s what happens when you stumble across bands and artists you’re not familiar with.

So don’t consider yourself alone.

Grab lunch and enjoy.
