Something just a little out of the ordinary this weekend – a concert by the legendary Nina Simone, as given at The Royal Theater in London on December of 1977.
One of the great voices, Simone’s style encompasses a lot more than just Pop or Jazz or Folk – her voice is timely and on days like today, it seems completely in line what a lot of people are experiencing and feeling today.
And so, what better voice to offer than a voice of conscience – expressing in words and song the feelings a lot of people are having today.
